Manufacture of metallic zirconium and other zirconium compounds. Zirconium chloride is used in the manufacture of metallic zirconium, pigments, dyes, glass, etc. It is also an important raw material for the production of other zirconium products such as zirconium dioxide, zirconium carbonate and zirconium sulphate.
Industrial additives. Used as an additive in rubber, textile, leather, metal surface treatment agents and other industries.
Preparation intermediates. Zirconium chloride is used as an intermediate in the preparation of other zirconium products, such as zirconium dioxide, paper industry wastewater agglutination treatment agent.
